Jared Bauer who is the founder of the YouTube channel Wisecrack is coming to Tartu for a public lecture and a movie night. Wisecrack's content includes all sorts of cultural and social commentary and critique. Rick & Morty along with Marvel movies are featured as frequently as Nietzsche, Marx and countless contemporary philosophers and other authors.

Jared will give a talk titled "How to Use Philosophy/Humanities Outside Academica: The Case of Wisecrack" in the morning.
In the eveing there will be a public screening of the movie Network (1976) followed by a discussion with Jared and members of faculty from Department of Philosophy.
