NordPhil 2023 – Nordic Philosophy Students Conference First Time in Estonia

NordPhil conference takes first time place at the University of Tartu, Jakobi 2-336 on September 15th—16th. All interested people are welcome. Registration is open until September 10th HERE.

During two days, we gather around fresh thoughts for various topics in philosophy, with people from all over the Nordics. NordPhil 2023 includes 15 speakers from various disciplines in philosophy. The conference begins with a keynote speech by Associate Professor Francesco Orsi. The two-day schedule includes presentations on classical,  political, and moral philosophy, and ethics, as well as on several other areas of contemporary philosophy. Find out the programme HERE.

The event is free of charge and welcomes everyone, however with a focus on student-to-student interaction. 

The conference has been held previously at the Universities of Oslo, Uppsala, Lund, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Tampere. For the 7th edition, it is the first time for NordPhil to bring philosophy students to Estonia.
