Webinar to combat disinformation and enhance critical digital literacy

On September 20, 23 and 24 September from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Andreas Ventsel and Mari-Liis Madisson from the University of Tartu's Department of Semiotics, along with other colleagues participating in the Erasmus+ project "S.HI.E.L.D. vs Disinfo" (2023-2025), will organize a webinar to share practical techniques for addressing the growing challenge of disinformation.
 

The project focuses on developing the necessary skills to combat misinformation in digital media. It also involves advancing the teaching of critical digital literacy by creating theoretical frameworks and practical solutions for developing new courses in European higher education institutions.

The webinar is intended for students, educators, and researchers.
