Additional admission to philosophy MA program

From June 20th to 30th there is an additional admission period to the English language Philosophy MA program, only full tuition places (3520 euros per year) are available. Graduates of Estonian universities can apply via SAIS, graduates of foreign universities can apply via Dreamapply.

The 2-year Master’s Programme in philosophy familiarises students with one or more sub-areas of philosophy: History of Philosophy, Practical Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, Theoretical Philosophy. It offers an excellent opportunity to students who are interested in pursuing a PhD in philosophy, but it also prepares students for many other kinds of intellectual enterprises. We welcome students with a background in philosophy as well as students from other disciplines who have an interest in the philosophical issues raised by those disciplines. Advisors help students design their own study plan that matches with the student’s needs. Courses are taught by international and Estonian faculty. In addition, leading philosophers from all over the world regularly teach seminars and Master’s classes and international conferences and workshops are held in Tartu every year.
